Chairman Li Xiyong meeting with Australian Ambassador Adams to China

On November 8, by invitation of Ms. He Jan Adams, Australian ambassador to China, Chairman Li visited the Australian embassy in Beijing. The two sides made discussion on China-Australia investment policies, Yankuang’s current development and future plan in Australia and other related topics. Ambassador Adams, Ms Elizabeth Peak Minister-Counsellor, Mr. Dan Tebbutt, Minister Counsellor(Commercial)/Senior Trade Commissioner of Austrade, Ms Teresa Conolan, the Minister Counsellor (Immigration) and other staff from Australian Embassy attended the meeting.

Chairman Li made a brief introduction of Yankuang Group and business operation in Australia, expressed sincere appreciation to Ambassador Adams and her predecessors and Australian government for their concern and support. And he also objectively raised a few problems during operation management in Australia and asked the Ambassador for help.

Ambassador Adams expressed her congratulation to Yankuang Group’s success in Coal & Allied acquisition and Yancoal Australia became the biggest sole coal producer in Australia. And she also expressed appreciation for Yankuang Group’s contribution to the China-Australia economic cooperation. Ambassador Adams said, the Embassy valued the investment and development of Yankuang in Australia very much. They wished to assist Yankuang in all-round through close contact and communication.

Moreover, the two sides also made exchange and communication on future cooperation opportunities in electronic equipment manufacturing, trans-board e-commerce, service provider, technology and trade.

Mr. Xu Jinxin, the secretary to the board of Yankuang Group and other people in charge of International Business Center of Yankuang Group, the Secretary to the Board of Yanzhou Coal, the Finance Department of Yanzhou Coal attended the meeting.
